BACK
SPIN:
Like most moves, the backspin is meant to be done out of the six
step. It comes right after step 5. First, you need to learn how to
do a basic backspin.
Start
standing up(again if your more comfortable rotating the other
way, do everything opposite). Bend your right leg so you fall
to the ground. At the same time kick your left leg out in front
of you. slightly twisting to the right. Let your right hand hit
the ground and your left arm stick out for ballance:
Let your
butt spin on the floor as your kick makes you rotate, also push
off with your right hand.
Now lift
your right foot off the ground and straighten it, while
continuing your push off with the right hand.
Now your
spinning. Nothing should be touching the ground except your
ass. Stay ballanced by looking at your feet.
Pull your
legs in towards your body. This will greatly accelarate your
spin.

Next, you
tilt your head back. This will cause you to roll onto your
upper back.
